Goggles for those with glasses
25.12.2009
By Emily Tait

Skiing goggles that can help people with glasses have been featured by the Daily Telegraph.

The Bolle Quasar OTG goggles were rated three out of five by Dan Synge, writing for the news provider`s `Kitted Out` section, who tested out various skiwear items.

These over-the-glasses style goggles are designed to protect the eyes from snow, sleet and cold winds that can cause them to dry up – Flow Tech venting allows a good air supply to the lens.

They are also comfortable thanks to their soft micro-fleece lining.

The high-performance, sun-sensitive lenses also help protect the eyes from the sun`s harmful ultraviolet rays. Most people take care to keep their eyes protected in the summer months but it can be equally important in the winter as sunlight is reflected off snow and can easily cause sunburnt eyes.

Similar goggles have been developed by Oakley this season and Bausch & Lomb recently unveiled FogShield Sport pre-moistened towelettes which prevent fog from forming on goggles for eight hours and help keep lenses clean.ADNFCR-1853-ID-19528971-ADNFCR
