CooperVision began it’s life back in 1958 when it started as the Martin H Smith Company, it has had several reorganisations and name changes since then, before becoming the company we recognise today in 1987.

  • 1958 - Parent company The Cooper Companies Inc was started by the Martin H Smith Company
  • 1967 - Changed it’s name to Cooper Laboratories inc

How Do I Know Which CooperVision Contact Lens Is Best For Me

Ultimately your Optometrist will determine which contact lens is best suited to you, after asking you some questions about your lifestyle and vision needs, plus undertaking a full eye test and contact lens fitting.

Do CooperVision Make Their Own Contact Lens Solutions

That will depend on which CooperVision contact lens you are wearing. CooperVision manufacturer contact lenses that can be worn for 12 plus hours per day and extended wear contact lenses that can be worn overnight continuously for up to 30 days.
If you have daily disposable contact lenses then they will need removing and throwing out each evening and if you are wearing monthly disposable contact lenses you will need to remove them and clean them each evening, both of these wearing modes should give over 12 hours of comfortable wear per day.
