A music group which performs material about contact lenses and glasses is being reunited.
John Hegley, a poet, is bringing back comedy group the Popticians, getbracknell.co.uk has revealed.
The band, who wear glasses, will be at South Street arts centre in Reading tomorrow (April 4) to perform their gig.
According to readingarts.com, the group"s material covers issues that will be familiar to contact lens wearers, such as cleaning and losing glasses.
Tickets are £12.
John Hegley and the Popticians have also announced further dates on their Myspace page.
They will play in Battersea Arts Centre on May 28th and 29th and at the Big Chill Festival weekend in Ledbury in August.
In addition, the band says it will be performing "somewhere in LA" at "a festival some time in March" next year.
As well as John Hegley, the other Popticians are Sue Norton, Keith Moore, Bill Muir and Nick Greenwood.
Mr Hegley says on his official website that his appearance with the Popticians on the Radio One John Peel sessions in the early 1980s was his "first notable media exposure".
