Examiner.com writer Martha Kepner told of how a friend of hers who is a makeup artist created her own set by using an empty pill box.
She could then place a small amount of eyeshadow into the small spaces, a tactic that also works for lipstick and gloss.
Mascara wands were recommended as ideal tools for transferring some of the product to the box.

The testers liked the sponge applicator used to apply the cosmetics.
