The contact lens industry can benefit from a new device used for fluid dosing, the manufacturer claims.
Bronkhorst"s CORI-FILL can be used for such work as filling, dosing and sterilising, reports Life Cycle Cost & Energy Efficiency.
The company says that it can be used by the contact lens industry as well as the sectors of cosmetics, pharmaceutical and food and drink.
In addition, the technology has the capacity to include such features as proportional control or shut-off valves.
Bronkhorst"s UK division was set up in 2002.
Its parent company, Bronkhorst High-Tech BV, was set up in 1981 and is now a global organisation.
The company deals with thermal mass flow meters and controllers.
It is headquartered in Ruurlo in the Netherlands.
As well as the UK, there are subsidiary offices in China, the USA, Switzerland, northern Germany and France.
Bronkhorst was given the Koning Willem I Award in 1987 for being a successful young company.
