Weather "can affect contact lens care"

Weather "can affect contact lens care"

By Martin Burns

Contact lens wearers may need to take certain measures depending on the weather.

This is according to a blogger known as eednadnaa, who entered a post on AbsolutePunk.net about contact lenses.

According to the writer, people wearing contact lenses in hot and dry weather should use rewetting drops for their eyes.

If there is a lot of dust in the air, contact lenses should be rinsed every couple of hours.

Contact lens wearers were also advised to wear sunglasses in such conditions.

The blogger recommended 1 Day Acuvue Moist contact lenses for people who suffer from allergies, as this brand stops irritants from sticking to the lens.

It is also a brand of daily disposable lenses, which can be best for allergy sufferers.

Recently on the Bravenet Blog, advice was given to contact lens wearers who have dry eyes.

The writer suggested using Acuvue contact lenses with technology such as Hydraclear which allow the wetting agent to stay in the lens permanently.
