The makeup styles for Paris Fashion Week have been reported by an expert.
MAC makeup artist Neil Young gave a behind-the-scenes account of the trends seen at the French show in a blog entry for Grazia.
He expressed his delight with the "fierce" look created by Val Garland who used foundation and pencil to create a "warm halo" around models" eyes, with some powder added to the corners.
Elsewhere, he also spotted a simple but dramatic approach with eyes being lined in black and then shadowed.
Amy Conklin identified some autumn trends as seen on celebrities in a recent Examiner article.
She praised Mila Kunis" subtle smoky eyes and Lady Gaga"s feathery liner.
Ms Conklin said that Ms Kunis had chosen a good colour to put on the lids of her green and hazel eyes, describing it as a "beautiful burgundy".
However, Taylor Momsen was said to be lacking delicacy in her look and not complementing it properly to her lip colour.
