The wife of the new chairman of a countryside organisation has been given an eye makeover to help her look the part.
Susan Carter is married to Simon, who has been given the position at the Newbury and District Agricultural Society.
The Telegraph helped her out with dressing for her new role.
Its fashion director Hilary Alexander used a curler and mascara on Mrs Carter"s blonde, straight eyelashes and applied a purple eyeshadow to accentuate the blue in her eyes.
She also applied some concealer around Mrs Carter"s eyes and used some colour subtly on the lower lash line.
The eyeliner on the upper lash line was softened with a brush.
Earlier this month, the Daily Mail advised using a flesh or cream coloured eyeshadow on the lid to hide redness and give a base for other colours.
It also suggested using a soft brown or grey eye pencil along both lash lines.
