Coloured Contact lenses are worth investing in for the compliments that they generate, one user has claimed.
Natasha Hughes, in her blog for the Sydney Morning Herald, said that coloured contact lenses have become a mainstream fashion accessory but expressed that she previously knew little about them and was interested to learn more.
In response to her blog, Klayboi, from Adelaide, said that he has been wearing such lenses for almost four years as he has a small brown patch on his iris that he dislikes.
"They are slightly more expensive than regular contact lenses, but all the compliments I get are worth it," he added.
He went on to say that he has pairs in green, blue and brown, but feels crazy patterned, non-prescription lenses "tacky".
The hit Twilight novels and films started a trend in which students at Brandeis High School in San Antonio, Texas, began wearing coloured contact lenses.
