Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision is hoping that its latest range of products will help to further boost its portfolio of lenses.
The company has relaunched the Avaira Toric silicone hydrogel lenses after a successful spell on sale last year and is now targeting further growth in 2011 due to high demand for the products.
James Gardner, vice president of marketing for the Americas at CooperVision, commented: "Avaira Toric has performed extremely well in the market. We are pleased to now offer this outstanding product to a broad range of eyecare professionals."
He added that the lenses are a "great addition" to the firm's Avaira product line and the company's ever-increasing portfolio of silicone hydrogel lenses.
Originally being sold in the US, it is hoped that a successful run will eventually see the contact be sold in Europe and other areas of the globe.
