Contact lens wearers have been told that they can be free to do the activities they "love" if they have laser eye surgery.
This is according to Tony Veverka, chief executive of Ultralase, who said that this procedure offers people a host of benefits.
"For some it's practical - giving you the complete freedom to do the things you love at a moment's notice, such as skiing, swimming, golfing or even just walking in the rain. For others it's about improving the way you look - giving you greater confidence," he explained.
According to Mr Veverka, this treatment can be a convenient and safe alternative to glasses that is permanent too.
In addition, those considering having laser eye surgery have been offered advice on good aftercare options to follow.
Living.oneindia.in said that individuals who have gone through the procedure must make sure that they use any antibiotic eye drops that their doctor has prescribed them with.
