Regular eye tests could potentially prove useful to consumers who are aiming to protect their sight from the risks of damage, it has been suggested by one expert.
According to optometrist Dr Mark Lynn, the owner of 15 Dr Bizer"s VisionWorld sites, visual impairments are often preventable.
He stated: "The best way to prevent vision loss is to receive regular eye exams, protect your eyes and maintain a healthy lifestyle, and that is especially true for women."
The commentator went on to say that female consumers in particular might want to focus on their vision at the moment, with eye check-ups potentially having positive implications for them in the long term.
