A contact lens wearer from Australia has endorsed her chosen brand and won a competition because of it.
Sugar Spotlight Reader Lesley, from Victoria, has won $1,000 after expressing her fondness for Johnson & Johnson 1-Day Acuvue moist contact lenses, which she said have made a significant difference to her life.
Readers of the magazine were invited to write in and say how much contact lenses had changed their everyday life for the better and Lesley's endorsement spoke of how she had found her "perfect match" with the lenses.
"The ease of application was beyond amazing, beyond smooth and beyond the expectations I had set for a pair of contacts. It was safe to say my first use of contacts had me surprised," she wrote.
Meanwhile, to support its range of Acuvue brand contact lenses, Johnson & Johnson has announced the launch of the Acuvue 1-Day contest in the US, which will offer five lucky people the opportunity to travel to Los Angeles and meet their heroes, including Joe Jonas from the Jonas Brothers.
