Eye surgery "makes life easier"

Eye surgery "makes life easier"

By Alexa Kaczka

One famous recipient of eye surgery has revealed how the procedure has made her everyday life far easier and allowed her to do things she previously could not.

According to Loose Women star Jane McDonald, she underwent microsurgery as a last resort after trying and contemplating several other means of vision correction and found that it made an instant difference to her life.

She told the Mirror that, even though she underwent the procedure four years ago, her vision is arguably better now than when she first had the surgery.

"It makes everyday things easier. I love to read and I don't have to worry about finding my glasses when I pick up a book or a restaurant menu. It's wonderful because people think, ''oh, her eyesight is so good, she can't be that old'," the 48-year-old told the newspaper.

Recently, another famous person, Chris Volstad, the pitcher for the Florida Marlins, followed the example of his teammate, Josh Johnson, and had eye surgery on his right eye to improve his performance, which proved to be highly effective, blogs.palmbeachpost.com reported.
