The latest product manual from the Association of Contact Lens Manufacturers (ACLM) has been released, providing a definitive list of the products created by its members.
In the 2011 ACLM year book, manufacturers can view all the contact lenses and associated products produced by affiliated companies and find out any changes to product lines, Optician Online reported.
According to the ACLM, the booklet contains the majority of the contact lens solutions, cases and lenses produced in the UK and features 30 new products for 2011, as well as removing 60 products which had either expired or are no longer produced.
Optician Online noted that the product manual will prove a "handy reference" for contact lens practitioners in the months ahead.
It comes after the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published the latest global standard for contact lenses, the third version of the document, which pertains to the manufacture, sale and use of the products worldwide.
