Festival-goers given eye makeup advice

Festival-goers given eye makeup advice

With dozens of UK festivals taking place in the coming weeks, revellers have been issued with advice on which looks will be on trend this season and how to get away with them.

Zara Rabinowicz, beauty writer, expert and editor of Kiss & Makeup, explained that it is possible to still look stylish when traipsing around a muddy field if people know the secrets of applying good eye makeup.

She explained that the "messed-up look" is just about the only option for most people, but this does not have to look bad.

"We're going to see a lot of glitter and neon at festivals this year, with a return to the big bold eye and nude lips look. Think stunning Barry M dazzle dust dotted on your lids and coloured mascara to make them pop," she explained.

False eyelashes will be another popular option among people heading to the major 2011 festivals, she added, including Glastonbury, V Festival, T in the Park and the Leeds and Reading Festivals.
