Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has unveiled the latest additions to its range of contact lenses - the new Biofinity Multifocal.
The new products will join other contacts in the Biofinity range of 30-day replacement lenses.
It contains elements of both the Biofinity Asphere as well as Toric lens material, which utilises well-established Balanced Progressive Technology.
According to the company, trial users of Biofinity Multifocals have reported that the products beat a number of competitors across a range of parameters including quality of vision and comfort.
CooperVision revealed that the lens will be available in Canada later this year, with global expansion of the products set for 2012.
The new lenses were unveiled at the American Optometric Association's annual conference in Utah, where a number of manufacturers were also present to display their wares, including Bausch + Lomb, which showcased its new contact lenses solution and PureVision 2 HD contact lenses with precision optics.
