Contact lens manufacturer CooperVision has developed a new means of fitting contact lenses, which it claims will make the process easier for both wearers and practitioners.
According to the company, its new "streamlined" fitting technique will make it simpler for eyecare practitioners to fit their patients and offer lens wearers an "ideal combination" of ease, comfort and eye health.
Richard Clompus, vice-president of global professional relations at CooperVision, said the new method was developed alongside its new Biofinity Multifocal contact lenses.
"Collaborating with the practitioners who work directly with lens wearers every day and understanding that every eye is unique - that's how we're able to bring outstanding new products to market time and again," he added.
It comes after the launch of the company's Biofinity Multifocal contact lenses, which it claims will offer customers the best possible comfort alongside vision correction, even for people whose vision differs greatly in each eye.
