With the festive party season upon us, it's time to think about which dresses people are going to wear and plan their hairstyles, but one important consideration that they often neglect to focus on is getting eye makeup right.
Clairissa Cioch, manager of Hot Spot Salon & Spa, told the Observer Dispatch that the 'charcoal for Christmas' look is set to be big and is fairly easy to achieve.
She explained that the warm hues in the natural look add a "soft glow" that can complement any holiday outfit, and can be achieved by drawing a line of a dark shade of brown eye pencil along the lash line, then blend with a smudge brush.
Next, people need to sweep the eyelid with a copper or bronze shadow and then dust the inner corners of the eyes with light gold shimmer shadow.
"Keep lips soft with sheer colours, then use bronzer or a warm peachy blush on the apples of the cheeks. This will give a sun-kissed look," Ms Cioch explained.
This combination should ensure women look like the belle of the ball this festive season.
