A baby girl who has undergone laser eye surgery to save her sight may wear contact lenses in the future to help correct her vision.
Chloe Wilson was born at 23 weeks and her twin Ellie died when she was just 30 days old, the Telegraph reports.
Although Chloe survived, she would have gone blind if she had not had laser eye surgery as the blood vessels in her eyes were not properly developed.
Chloe"s father Steven Wilson, 24, said that 3,500 nerves were burned in each of his daughter"s eyes.
Her mother Michelle Wilson, 23, told the newspaper: "She will need glasses very early on but as she gets older she could wear contact lenses."
