News outlets have just revealed that American actress Sarah Jessica Parker wears her distinctive smoky eye makeup both on and off the red carpet. Parker told reporters that she loves the way her eyes look with the sultry dark color around them, so she just decided to put on this makeup every day.
When asked what brand of makeup she likes to use, Parker said that she only uses Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eye Color Jungle. This particular brand was specifically made to help women achieve the perfect smoky eye look. Parker is never without it.
Parker is so dedicated to wearing this style that she even wears it on days when she doesn't leave the house. She even went so far as to say that she wears this smoky eye style even if all she does on any day is wash dishes and wipes the rear ends of her kids.
In fact, Parker puts on this makeup so often that sometimes it doesn't even fade away after a shower or after washing her face at night. This doesn't bother Parker at all, however, because she knows she is just going to touch her eyes up again and again.
The only other makeup item Parker admitted to using frequently is inexpensive lip balm. But she said she very rarely puts mascara on her eyes. The smoky eye makeup does such a good job bringing out her eyes that she does not need the added mascara most of the time.
Sarah Jessica Parker is perhaps best known for her role as Carrie Bradshaw in the popular HBO television series Sex and the City. In addition to film and television work, Parker has also been in a great number of Broadway musicals. She is also very active in the fashion industry today.
Parker is currently married to the equally famous Ferris Bueller's Day Off actor Matthew Broderick. They have been married since 1997 and now have three children.
While Parker's two youngest daughters don't know much about Parker's influence on the fashion scene, even they sometimes ask her for style tips before going to school. Parker only hopes that her daughters will stay true to themselves in all the fashion choices they make throughout life. But she also admitted to reporters that it was very nice to know that her fashion opinion still matters to those that are closest to her.
