A new slim style of sunglasses are due to be unveiled in America next month.

Sunglasses which are designed to be super-slim are to be unveiled in America by a designer next week.

Keiki, a new range from Maui Jim Sunglasses, features lenses in a rectangular shape, according to the Moodie Report.

The glasses, to be displayed at the International Association of Airport Duty Free Stores" Duty Free Show in March, come in two colours for frames and lenses.

Frames can be grey or coffee-coloured and lenses may be in Maui Rose or HCL Bronze.

In addition, the lenses are made of polycarbonate and Maui Jim"s SuperThin glass.

This week, a promotion for a new sunglasses line by a New Zealand eyewear designer was also reported.

Karen Walker"s Celebrate the Sun range is being advertised by models wearing vampire fangs, reports the Press.

This is to demonstrate how even those who avoid the sun will want to wear the designs.

The photographs were taken by Derek Kettala, who is based in New York.
