Residents in Jerseyville, Illinois, can now pick up their contact lenses via a new drive-through service, according to a report.
Illinois newspaper the Telegraph reported that the Bishop Family Eye Care office moved premises to a building previously owned by a bank.
It inherited the bank"s drive-through facility and has decided to carry on using it in an innovative new service for its customers.
Dr Dean Bishop, optometrist at Bishop Family Eye Care, told the news provider: "If you are a mother with three kids in the car and it is raining or snowing, this is a nice way to pick up your contact lenses."
The eye care office was also named as Business of the Month by the Jersey County Business Association.
