Bausch + Lomb ReNu MultiPlus multi-purpose solution has won the Best Eye Care Product of the Year - Asia at this year"s A.S. Watson Global Suppliers Awards.
According to the contact lens manufacturer, the solution is the first of its kind in the eye care industry, combining improved consumer convenience with a fresher and cleaner design.
Its clear bottle lets users examine the purity of the solution from outside and see how much is left with a run out indicator.
The bottle also uses PET, a recyclable plastic material, so consumers have an environmentally-friendly option.
"We will continue to work with our trade and eye care professional partners to provide the best segment-based, insight-driven innovations to consumers," commented David Kirby, vice president of sales development in Asia Pacific for Bausch + Lomb.
The contact lens producer recently named Brent Saunders as its new chief executive officer, who has previously worked for drug manufacturer Schering-Plough.
