Contact Lens manufacturer Bausch + Lomb has refreshed its portfolio of products in Asia in order to increase its presence throughout the continent.
The Malaysian Star reports that Asian consumers now have a new option when it comes to multi-purpose contact lens solution, giving those with sensitive eyes an alternative choice when looking for a new Renu formulation.
"Renu sensitive multi-purpose solution has the same effective elements as Renu fresh, except that it caters for contact lens users with more sensitive eyes. The solution cleans and provides effective disinfection for contact lens wearers with a simple rub," the source explained.
It added that the new formula ensures that potentially irritating particles are rinsed away and is particularly effective for people with sensitive eyes.
Recently, Bausch + Lomb launched a new iPhone app designed to offer practitioners help in fitting toric lenses.
The tool involves three steps including spectacle refraction, the adjustment of any lens rotation seen during a trial and the back vertex distance.
