An expert has highlighted a number of top eye makeup tips designed to make it easier to apply and remove.
Stefanie Payne, executive editor, writer and designer at City Room, has told Just Luxe that heating one"s eyelash curler with a blast from the hair dryer can boost the curl that can be achieved.
She suggested that those looking for a smoother application when using eye pencils should run them under warm water and wipe them dry to achieve this.
Ms Payne also emphasised the importance of applying mascara to the base of the lash line, as this will be an important step in preventing prepared lashes from falling under their own weight.
She also warned against misapplying eye makeup when attempting the smoky look, as this can produce racoon eyes.
"Either place a square of toilet paper beneath the lower lash line to catch loose shadow, or dab loose face powder before application then wipe away when finished to reduce staining," Ms Payne advised.
