Contact lenses didn"t stop chemistry, say Twilight stars

Two of the stars of new vampire movie Twilight worried about their romantic scenes but said contact lenses did not hide their on-screen chemistry.

Speaking to film website IGN, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart spoke at length about their experience making the flick, which is based on a bestselling novel.

IGN asked how they sustained the "mutual chemistry" so evident between their characters Bella and Edward, but Stewart replied she was "terrible" at romantic scenes.

"It worried us because we both were wearing contact lenses and so much of it was to do with eye contact," Pattinson said.

Stewart added that she was relieved people bought into the idea of the two as lovers.

If you like the movie Twilight and want to go to a fancy dress party this Christmas as your favourite on-screen vampire, some of the crazy contact lenses on the market - in designs such as wolf or blood red - might be ideal for your outfit"s finishing touch.
