Yes, anyone can wear coloured contact lenses, even if you wear glasses you can still change your eye colour.
If you have astigmatism or presbyopia you probably won't find a coloured contact lens to correct vision to a high enough level, but you can still change your eye colour and wear glasses to correct your vision, simply choose coloured contact lenses with no power - plano

Have you bought any contact lens solutions for your lenses?
Ordered Sunday rec'd Tuesday, Freshlook Colourblends - Emerald Green Stone. They are 30 day wear
& can be used upto 3 months, wearing 30 times through this period. I have hazel coloured eyes with a black ring on the outside, green ring & hazel brown around the pupil. These have given me a greener colour that looks very natural. People look at my eyes wondering if they are my real colour but don't say anything. If anyone asked I would say they are colour enhancer contact lenses. Don't need to wear lot of makeup, only mascara! To show off eyes, they are great, would order again.
Got these contacts yesterday and tried them out. I bought brilliant blue I was skeptical as to whether they would show up or not. Blimey they are brilliant the blue really showed up against my brown nearly black eyes. I will most definitely be trying different colours. I would absolutely recommend these lenses for people with dark eyes :).
Can anyone advise me as to the best colour lense for my medium blue eyes. I am trying to achieve a light blue effect but cannot seem to find the colour that I am looking for. I have looked at lots of different sites specifically to achieve a light blue colour but they only seem to provide very light blue for non prescription lense wearers.
I have tried the true sapphire in the freshlook colour blend range and they do look lovely but would really love to go a few shades lighter in prescription coloured lenses. I would be very greatful if anyone could provide me with advise. Thank you in advance. x You could try the Blue in Freshlook colourblend. You can just buy just one lens for 7.25 and check out the colour, it is lighter than the Sapphire Blue.
Was really looking forward to receiving my contact lenses and I must say..... Contactlense.co.uk,s service is second to none! I received my lenses in record time and was not disappointed with the results that my new sapphire blue contact lenses gave me. I have medium blue eyes and wanted to enhance, rather than change my eye colour completely. The only thing I would say is that it takes a bit of getting used to and above all patience (in terms of letting the contacts settle before completely dismissing them).
I usually wear normal colourless prescription lenses, so have experience of what they can feel like.I therefore can only presume that people that are saying that these contact lenses are uncomfortable have not really given them a chance to settle and haven't worn contact lenses prior to wearing coloured ones! All I can say to those people is..... Be patient and don't dismiss immediately. These Lenses are fantastic and well worth a try. Extremely good value for money too!
One more thing before I go.... I have noticed that there are a lot more reviews that people with brown eyes have written, where are all the people that have blue eyes and used these lenses. I would be very interested to read some reviews with feedback from people with naturally blue eyes that have tried any of the blue and grey range. Thank you to Contactlense.co.uk for enhancing my blue eyes and my confidence along with it!!!
it took 3 days to deliver to my place. i opened the box, found the color was actually very light, closer to yellow other than brown. then i tried them on. it felt obviously uncomfortable and blur. Pretty much like see the world through a veil and when you look from left to right it takes a while to refocus again. the worst thing is , you can feel you are wearing something in your eyes, unlike other contact lens which attached to your eye balls perfectly so you won't feel something is in your eyes constantly. this really isn't worthy to buy.
I wanted to try something different but not over the top at first so chose the honey colour and they look fab! I have this wolf eye going on when I wear them, I've had comments from complete strangers (men) telling me I have beautiful eyes, that does not usually happen with my normal dark brown eyes. I'm going to push the boat out and try green or blue now! Although currently I have blue hair so blue may be too much!
I had to write a quick review to let anyone thinking of purchasing these lenses know how brilliant they are! I had never used contact lens before these, I have 20/20 vision but I just fancied changing my colour. After reading some reviews, I chose Freshlook Colourblends as most people seem to agree they are one of the most natural looking.
I have amber brown coloured eyes naturally and I worried these would not suit me or look obviously fake. I ordered the lenses in 'Sterling Grey', which I would say is actually more of a soft blue. I love it! They look completely natural, you would swear it was my own eye colour. It's such a nice change. I think the bright blue can look a little fake, especially if you are darker, but this shade is so natural, you can get away with it.
It felt a little weird wearing lenses for the first time, but you soon get used to it. You need a bit of practice at inserting them, but they look gorgeous. I was very pleased with the price and the super quick delivery as well, and I will definitely be repurchasing from contactlens.co.uk.
If you want to see how the lenses really look on a brown eyed girl, you can see picture of me wearing them here: http://allthelittlepieces-blog.blogspot.co.uk/2012/11/oh-lord-make-my-brown-eyes-blue.html
I bought this colour lenses because value of money, but it was mistake.
Unfortunately lenses doesn't settle in my eyes and I cannot see anything.
Mind you, I am oriental so my eye ball's are could be different shape as european but it was dissapointed that I cannot wear them all.
14 pounds go to the bin straight away.
I ordered my lenses yesterday morning and they arrived the next day! SO HAPPY with the fast service!! My eyes are naturally a medium brown colour but wanted to add some va va voom to my eyes for occasions. Tried the grey on today and I am in love with how they look! Will definitely be ordering some more! Thanks so much contactlenses.co.uk!
I had orderd my vry first pair of colored contact perscription lenses ever, and was anxious to try these ones out seeing someone else whereing them lookd so natural, I went with grey. They came about a 5-6 days later, and as soon as I put them on I couldnt see worth a darn, I mean every time I blink they shift, and I get blurred vision also feel very drying. Very dissappointed wish the toric size was smaller. If you have large eyes these might be for you if not, I dont recommend these.:(
I have quite dark blue eyes and wanted them to look a bit lighter in colour and a bit more sparkly, so after reading all the reviews decided to order the Sterling Grey. I am thrilled with the results. It is quite subtle but people have noticed that there is something different about my eyes saying that they are sparkly and brighter.
This is my first time using contact lenses and thought as I was trying something new, maybe I should change my colour as well.
I got the Gemstone Green and they are so fantastic I have just ordered the Amethyst!
I have a feeling these are going to be my new addiction!!
I bought these contacts in light brown - they are a beautiful colour, very naturual looking, however, they are only available in Radius/Diameter: 8.6/14.5. I have never given this much thought before, but I have always bought 8.9/14. I think that the 8.6 is not large enough for my pupil as my vision feels constricted :s. I am so disappointed as I kept them in for 2 days hoping that maybe I'd get used to it, but no joy :(. All the other reviews are so positive, so I guess no one else has had this problem.. Maybe my pupils are larger than normal peoples? :/
I may be completely wrong, I don't really understand the whole Radius/Diameter thing. It may be the coloured portion of the contacts that is obscuring my vision as I have never worn coloured lenses before. I dont know. But other than this - they are really comfortable and dont dry out, as that is one problem I didnt have even though I do suffer from dry eyes.
I brought some blue contacts for a natural look as I have light blue eyes anyway. When I first tried to put them in I spent about 40 minutes trying to put them in (it is not the first time I have used contacts, for halloween I had some from the joke shop) when I eventually put them in they looked ok nothing amazing I actually prefere the colour of my natural eyes. They are far too soft. I didnt have any problems with them ripping as others have had, but they bend in half when your trying to put them in your eye. Also had an incident about the third time I wore them when I was at work serving a customer and it moved and was floating around my eyeball rarther embarrassing! so I had to take it out but wasnt able to put it straight in a solution so when I got home about an hour later they had dried up and gone all crispy lol! so I have not used them again, so tip is to buy a colur that will make a huge difference to your eyes and go for a different make as they are to soft so hard to put in.
